A shared notes list, organised into sections

How it works
- A notes list groups by section from the start — invent your own sections, like "ideas" or "recipes", and move notes between them.
- Format as you write: bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, bullet lists, numbered lists — and turn any line into a checkbox and back, without losing the text.
- Share the list with someone and what either of you writes or checks off shows up on the other side right away, no refresh needed.
What makes it different
- A checkbox inside a note stays a note — it does not need to become a separate to-do list to track something you have to do.
- It is saved on the device the instant you write it; sharing catches up once there is a connection, but nothing ever waits for it.
- Formatting is plain text underneath (Markdown-style), so an older version of the app still shows the whole note, symbols and all.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I add checkboxes inside a note?
- Yes. Any line of a note can become a checkbox and back to plain text, without losing what you wrote.
- Is there a free shared notes app?
- Yes — trying Peltra needs no account, and sharing a notes list is free for whoever you invite.
- Can I organise notes into folders?
- Notes are grouped by sections you create yourself inside each list — rename, reorder or fold them as you like.
- Does formatting survive on an older device?
- Yes. Formatting is stored as plain text with symbols (like **bold**), so nothing is ever lost even on an app version that predates it.
