How it works
- Write the whole sentence — "call the plumber next Tuesday" — and the date gets pulled out on its own, no fields to fill in.
- Assign a task to a person in the list. Each person gets their own name and colour, so you can tell at a glance whose turn it is.
- Swipe right for a quick tick, swipe left and hold to snooze it to another day, or swipe further left to send it to the trash.
What makes it different
- Nothing you delete is gone for good: it sits in the trash for 90 days, so an accidental swipe never costs a task.
- It never waits for the network to react — the moment you write or tick something, it is already saved on the phone.
- The other person is never asked to pay to join your list, no matter how many chores you split between you.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I assign a task to someone else?
- Yes. Any item in a shared list can be assigned to whoever is in that list, and everyone can see who it is assigned to.
- Is there a free shared to-do list app?
- Yes — trying Peltra needs no account, and sharing a list is free for whoever you invite. Today nothing in Peltra is charged for.
- What happens if I delete a task by mistake?
- It goes to the trash and stays there for 90 days. You can undo the delete right after it happens, or recover it from the trash later.
- Can I set recurring tasks?
- Yes. When you tick off a recurring task, the next one is created automatically, anchored to when it was due rather than when you completed it.
